Opinions about the EBC University.

An international Career

Sascha Doering
General Manager, Marketing & Finance
Automobili Lamborghini America LLC

Sascha Doering, former EBC student, tells his story: »Nine years ago – in the summer of 2002 – I completed my studies in international business administration at the Euro-Business-College. Shortly afterwards my next objective was clear: I wanted to build on my degree with an MBA in the USA and, if possible, several years´ work experience abroad. As well as working in the marketing / promotion area in Hamburg, I spent the following months thinking intensively about the choice of university, admission examinations, visa, financing and removal logistics.

From the EBC University to an international career

I then moved from Hamburg to Los Angeles in the summer of 2003. The 20-month course of study at Pepperdine University, Graziadio School of Business and Management (GSBM) in Malibu served as a stepping-stone to the global automobile industry. During the first year of the full-time MBA course, I began my career as an Associate in the internal strategic planning team of J.D. Power and Associates (JDPA), an international market-research company specialising in the automobile industry. During my studies, I continued my activities at JDPA in the Automotive Research Business. After I completed my MBA studies, JDPA offered me a job in Automotive Retail Consulting.

Project Manager Consultant

Between 2005 and 2007, depending on the project, I commuted between our location to the south of Los Angeles and automobile manufacturers such as Honda, Toyota, Nissan, BMW and Hyundai, as well as their authorised dealers. At the end of 2007, I was put in charge of the customer business of Porsche North America and Nissan North America. Following my move from Los Angeles, CA to Nashville, TN (where Nissan North America is located), I was responsible, so to speak, for the research and consulting business of both a premium and a volume brand for J.D. Power and Associates in North America.

Audi and Lamborghini

After only one and a half years in Nashville (TN), I joined the Volkswagen Group in the USA. In June 2009 and after another move, this time to near Washington D.C., I began working for Audi of America, where I was responsible for the Retail Performance Strategy of the dealer network in the USA. Two and a half years later I changed within the Group from the premium manufacturer Audi to the luxury brand Lamborghini, initially as head of financial and business planning. Since 2011, my job has also included marketing and strategic planning.«

»You must be totally convinced by your university«

Jan Hofer, Tagesschausprecher, spricht über das EBC Studium
Jan Hofer, TV newsreader

Whoever wants to study nowadays and get qualified for the professional requirements of the future has a problem deciding where to go. There are just over 400 universities at the moment in Germany currying favour with the young »decision-makers of the future«. But how can a school-leaver recognise which university is best suited to his or her own needs and wishes, which university communicates sustainably the relevant specialist knowledge, efficient learning and working techniques, social and emotional competences with the help of modern media?!

Also decide with your heart

You must be totally convinced by ‘your’ university with clear data, facts and content. What is most important: it should also feel right and your wish to study should be accompanied by passion and personal commitment. With your decision on what and where you study, you are setting the direction for your future – your university has the task of accompanying you on that path, supporting you and preparing you for future challenges!

EBC University with intensive personal coaching

The newly positioned EBC University fulfils many of these prerequisites and requirements and could be the right and suitable educational institution for you if you attach importance in your education to internationality, foreign languages, a personal and intimate atmosphere, solicitous lecturers and clearly defined personality development, in which positive lateral thinking is also desired and demanded, as well as central campi in the loveliest and most attractive cities in Germany.

Bearing these thoughts in mind, I wish you a good decision, great success and a lot of fun
