Campus Düsseldorf

The EBC University in Düsseldorf established itself as a private business school more than two decades ago and has presented itself as a successful alternative to anonymous mass studying. Everybody knows everybody else on the campus in Düsseldorf: 250 students, lecturers and administrative staff ensure an open dialogue, characterised by mutual appreciation. Service and caring, together with individual accompaniment of students from studying to career, are the cornerstones of the academic concept. In the meantime, a great number of Düsseldorf EBC alumni work in renowned companies in the region and are in their jobs the best ambassadors for the university – and, just as important, contact partners for subsequent graduate generations.

The university has up-to-date equipment and offers students bright and friendly seminar rooms, which are all fitted with W-LAN, a library and a cafeteria.

Studying in the Fair and Fashion City

Düsseldorf competes with Munich to be the best place to live in Germany – and rightly so. On the one hand, Düsseldorf is the capital city of the state of North-Rhine Westphalia: parliament, ministries and local authorities are located along the banks of the Rhine. On the other hand, Düsseldorf is a financial and insurance metropolis, with the headquarters of famous companies such as the METRO Group or Vodafone.

This picture is framed by the glamour which radiates throughout the city: the Media Port and the showrooms in Kaiserwerther Straße are special highlights in this fashion and media city. Countless agencies, media and advertising firms are to be found here. Every year, the elegant shopping street »Kö« becomes the longest catwalk in the world, for Düsseldorf is not only the main location of fashion companies like Esprit, C&A or Peek & Cloppenburg. The city is regularly host to worldwide labels which present themselves to the expert public in the GALLERY Düsseldorf (previously CPD / Igedo).

A city with many activities needs an attractive hospitality sector. While the Old Town with its restaurants, traditional breweries and clubs is an enticing venue, famous 5-star hotels such as Interconti or the new Hyatt have gained an excellent reputation which goes far beyond the city limits. Düsseldorf International Airport shows that Düsseldorf is one thing above all: open to the world and open-minded.
