International Students

The EBC University will not enrol any new students from the winter semester 2019/2020 onwards. This decision is based on the strategic reorientation within the ESO Education Group. Further information can be found in the press release.

For a comparable and more comprehensive range of courses, please refer to our sister university International School of Management, which also belongs to the ESO Education Group.

Our international office is the main hub for all international students who wish to study one semester or for a full year at EBC University of Applied Sciences. As an »Incoming Student« you can either come as an exchange student (from our partners) or as a visiting student (fee-paying).

The international office and Erasmus advisor in Hamburg is happy to help you and will provide you with guidance during your study abroad time with us. This website provides you with the individual contact information. We are also happy to provide you with tips on your study program, language courses, housing – simply everything of importance for student life in Germany.

Exchange students>

If your home university has a partnership agreement with EBC University of Applied Sciences, you may study with us for one semester or a full year without paying tuition fees. Please note, however, that you cannot pursue a full degree at EBC University of Applied Sciences.

Please first direct your application to your home university. If your institution offically nominates you as an exchange student, you may pursue your application with us. You can find a list of our partner institutions on this website.

Visiting students (Fee-paying students)>

If you have not been nominated as an exchange student by your home university or if your home university is not one of EBC University of Applied Sciences' international partner, you may come as a visiting student on a fee-paying basis for the duration of one or two semesters. Ideally of course, the credits you earn through your coursework at EBC can be transferred to your home institution. We therefore advise you to check with your International Office which courses may be credited back at home. Please note that as a visiting student you usually cannot pursue a degree at EBC University of Applied Sciences.

Please contact our Incoming Mobility Coordinator on for more information.
